Sandy Scott co-leads AmeriCorps’ climate change initiatives, advises the CEO on policy and strategy, and fosters inter-agency collaborations. With over 25 years at AmeriCorps, he has held roles including Director of Public Affairs, Press Secretary, and Director of Government Relations. In 2020, he served as Director of Government Affairs and External Relations for the National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service. Prior to AmeriCorps, Scott worked on Capitol Hill and with environmental and civic organizations in Texas and California.
